After years of seeing imagery of the lush green trails from the Pacific Northwest have overwhelming influence on the media and culture of mountain biking, we decided it was time to go experience the rich dark loam of the coastal regions for ourselves. So in the spring, we dusted off our trail bikes, packed up the rig and headed north to see what we could find.

Its the end of another successful season for the Steve Peat Syndicate and the SPS find themselves celebrating this with a day of fun in and around Sheffield.

Catch up with the whole team as well as Josh Bryceland as they tear round the newly built Parkwood Springs, an inner city trail centre, race go-karts just down the road and finish the day off with burgers and beers at Peaty's own residence.

Falling Creek 12/1-12/6

Been slacking on the blog, but it's for good reason. I've been working and working. This post will just be a conglomerate of stuff that has happened since I last posted. The Ditch Witch goes in the shop on Monday so I've been giving it a push as much as possible to get things to a good pausing point. I should be able to get to the bottom by Sunday evening. I'm really looking forward to it. I was able to give people a reason to go passed the Happy Ending, now I need to give people a reason to go passed the step up. I'm not gonna write too much, we've had some cool days out there lately, everything from getting stuff done to awesome jam sessions. Watching people progress is always really rewarding, especially when you've given them something to progress on.

Got the roller before the step up in, it got good reviews.

11/30/12 Falling Creek

John and Chris were already out there when I got there.  They were soaking down some of the newer work, we need a good rain badly.  If it would just rain a half inch every few days or week it would help a good bit.   I started moving dirt from the bottom of the hill up to the step up lander to make sure it's wide enough for people to make mistakes safely.  I started piling up the dirt for the roller before the step up also.  I'll be scraping for dirt to make it to the bottom.   I scraped some from the sides today to help create the foundation for the addition on the landing and the beginning of the table before the step up.
